Wilma Grabel Lawson

Wilma Jean Grabel Lawson, age 81, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Monday,  December 6, 2021 at her home in Wilmington.

She was born February 23, 1940 in Hyden, KY, daughter of the late Omas Wagers  and Verdie Smith Wagers.

Jean retired from International Paper after 23 years of service.

Surviving are two sons, Allen Grabel and Terry (Ronda) Grabel, three grandchildren, Savanah Grabel, Logan Grabel, Aaron Joseph (Ashley) Grabel, five great-grandchildren, Damion, Maliki and Eli Grabel, Amara White and Aliester Grabel. Other survivors include her brother, Alonzo (Eunice) Wagers, and two sisters, Phyllis Poffenbarger and Patricia (David) Thomas.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husbands, Lowell Earl Lawson and Ronald C. Grabel, three brothers, Harold Wagers, Marvin Wagers, Glenn Wagers and her sister, Janice Nelson.

Graveside Services will be held at Butler County Memorial Park, Friday, December 10, 2021 at 12:00 Noon

The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
