William E. "Bill" Tissot

William E. "Bill"  Tissot, age 84, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Saturday,  July 8, 2023 at Cedarview Rehabilitation and Nursing Care in Lebanon.  
 
 He was born November 1, 1938 in Mowrystown, OH, son of the late Willis Henry Tissot and Sarah Mae Wilson Tissot.
 
 Bill retired from Cincinnati Milacron, was a member of the Wilmington Masonic Lodge and was a US Army veteran, having served in Germany.   
 
 Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Linda Evans Tissot, whom he married December 12, 1959, three children, Mary (Bob) Groves, Jim (Liz) Tissot and Mike (Mindy) Tissot. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Christina (Jason) Morrow, Jamie (Jimmy) Roe, Steve (Jordan) Groves, Nick (Shannon) Tissot, Nathan (Rebekah) Tissot, Ashley (Danny Thokey) Tissot, Jared (Alexis Carmen) Tissot, and eleven great grandchildren.
 
 In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Edward Tissot, brother, Roy Tissot and brother-in-law, Carl "Bob" Evans.
 
 Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Steve Evans officiating. Masonic services will be held prior to the funeral service.  Interment will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery where the Wilmington American Legion Honor Guard will conduct military honors.
 
 Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, Wednesday, July 12, 2023, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
 
 In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
