William "Bill" Sutton Moore,
Age 94, passed away Sunday evening, August 12, 2018 at Brighton Gardens in Centerville, Ohio.
He was born December 1, 1923 in Berea, Kentucky, son of the late Henry Clay & Lucy Ann (Barclay) Moore.
A WW II US Army Veteran, Bill retired from GM Delco Moraine Plant. He and his wife were founding members of the Wilmington Assembly of God, where they have worshiped for over 60 years.
Surviving are his wife of 71 years- Morfydd Moore of Centerville, OH; sons- Philip David (Diane) Moore of Franklin, OH, Brian Gerard (Robyn) Moore of Lafayette, IN, & Adrian Keith (Ginger) Moore of Springboro, OH; Eight grandchildren- Christy (Zach) Dixon, Cheri (Dave) Graham, Melissa (Eric) Abrams, Brian Moore II, Cheria Moore, Garren Moore, Devon Moore & Alayna (Stephen Jeffries) Moore; and Five great-grandchildren- Ethan, Allison, Connor, Rachel, & Aidan.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his 7 sisters; 3 brothers; and 2 half-brothers.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Wilmington Assembly of God, 609 West Locust Street,Wilmington with Pastor Brian Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Miami -Corwin Cemetery, Waynesville, OH where the active duty US Army soldiers will accord military honors.
The Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of services on Saturday at the Church.
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
