William Grisby

William  "Chef"  Grisby,
Age 58, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away after a lengthy battle with his weak heart at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio.

He was born  November 20, 1957 in Camden, Alabama.

William had worked for several years as the Executive Chef for Sodexo at the Wilmington College, the Toyota Plant in Kentucky and the Kenwood Country Club in Cincinnati.  He was an active member of  the Quinn Chapel AME Church in Wilmington.

Surviving are his 2 sisters- Jackie Coleman and Sharon Coleman, both of Cincinnati; nephew- Demetrius (Briana) Coleman, Cincinnati; 4 great-nieces; and a special daughter- Brittany (Antonio) Gomez, Eastgate, Ohio.

William was preceded in death by his mother Flora Mae (Grisby) Coleman and father- Robert Coleman.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 19 at the Quinn Chapel AME Church, 50 North Linoln Street, Wilmington with Pastor Philip Turner officiating.  A gathering of friends will be from 1:00 PM until the time of services at the church on Saturday.
