William Flint

William Thomas Flint,
Age 84, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer early Tuesday morning,  July 22, 2014 at the Autumn Years Nursing Home in Sabina, Ohio.

He was born August 27, 1929 in Wilmington, Ohio, son of the late Orville & Katherine (Miller) Flint.  He married Wanda L. Haylslip Flint, who passed away in 1994.

William retired from the Wilmington Iron & Metal Company after over 28 years of service.  He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving are his 2 sons- William Orville (Ada) Flint & Charles Eugene(Susan) Flint, both of Wilmington; several grandchildren; special cousins- Ruby Jean & Lena May; and a sister in Florida.

In addition to his parents and wife, William was preceded in death by his daughter- Cathy Flint, brother- Frank Flint, & half-sister- Mary Flint.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry St., Wilmington with Pastor Mike McCormick officiating.  Interment will follow in the Springfield Friends Cemetery, Wilmington.  Friends will be received from 10- 11 AM Mondya at the Funeral Home.
