Virginia P. Warren, 83, of Wilmington, OH, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Clinton Memorial Hospital.
She was born December 17, 1932 in Clinton County, the daughter of George and Blanche Bell Poorman, who both preceded her in death.
Virginia was secretary at Denver Place School in Wilmington for 25 years , retiring in 1998. She is remembered fondly by many former students and teachers.
Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Cindy Warren of the Lees Creek area; daughter, Elaine Warren of Port William; grandson, Grant Warren of Wilmington; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Warren of Wilmington; and cousin, Lou Ann Lind of Wilmington.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Gordon R. Warren.
Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, Thursday, December 8, 2016, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Services at the convenience of the family will be held at the Springfield Friends Cemetery, December 9, 2016 with Pastor Julie Rudd officiating.
