Virginia C. Mathews, age 77, of Hillsboro, Ohio , passed away Friday morning, November 28, 2014 in Morehead, KY.
She was born August 17, 1937 in Sault Sainte Marie, MI, daughter of the late William Dale and Effie McDonald Dale.
Virginia retired from Huhtamaki in New Vienna after 37 years of service.
Surviving are three sons, Kenneth (Rhonda) Mathews of Mt. Orab, OH, Chris (Sona) Mathews of Hillsboro, OH, and Michael (Allison) Mathews of Morehead, KY, daughter, Janice (Mike) Kuhns of Acworth, GA, eight grandchildren, Katie, Jason, Sarah, Jack, Cody,Whitney, Emma'Li, and M'Shae, great-granddaughter, Nora, great-grandson, Aidan, two brothers, Allen (Karen) Dale of MI, and Ronnie (Bunny) Dale of OR, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Virginia was preceded in death by grandson, Christopher William Mathews II, sister, Marion Bertram, and brother, Bill Dale.
Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tom Zile officiating. Interment will follow in the Buford Cemetery, Buford, Ohio.
Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Ohio Wednesday, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
