Viola M. Eveland,
Age 91, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Sunday morning, June 12, 2011 at her residence in Wilmington, Ohio.
She was born October 9, 1919 in Waynesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Richard Franklin & Ollie Marie (Lynch) Campbell. On July 5, 1941 in Kingston, TN, Viola married the love of her life, Clifford Nichols Eveland, who preceded her in death.
Viola had worked at Williams Plumbing and Heating and had owned and operated the Stage Door Inn in Montgomery, Ohio. She was a member of the Wilmington Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her two fine sons- Clifford Nick (Mary) Eveland, Wilmington and Dr. A. Peter (Vicki) Eveland, Seattle, WA; six Grandchildren-Cheryl (Tom) Schweitzer, Ali (Steve) Zitney, A. Peter Eveland IV, Kristen Eveland, Nick Eveland and Tyler Eveland and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Viola was preceded in death by 3 brothers- Richard, Charles, & Robert Campbell, and 2 sisters- Helen Morgan and Ann Gleadall.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Rev. David Hawley officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, OH.
Friends will be received from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington, OH .
