V. Evelyn Shaffer

V. Evelyn Shaffer, age 87, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro, OH.
She was born February 26, 1927 in Versailles, KY, daughter of the late Joe B. Flora and Frances C. Lancaster Flora.
She was a member of Rocky Mountain High Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Sandy Barnett, Patricia Houston, Sharon Potter, Lisa Hibbs, four sons, William S. Shaffer, Keith Shaffer, Kelvin Shaffer,and Tony Shaffer. Also surviving are many, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren as well as a sister, Hilda Morrison.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Shaffer, and a daughter, Gloria Jean Newland.
Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 7:00 pm with William S. Shaffer officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens at the convenience of the family.
Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Saturday, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
