Vern Williams

Vern Franklin Williams, age 83, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Monday afternoon, April 13, 2020 at his home.

He was born May 8, 1936 in Lawton, Kentucky, son of the lateR. Anthony and Anna Mae (Bair) Williams.

Vern was an United States Navy Veteran and retired as head custodian from Willowville Elementary in Batavia after 30 years of service. Attended Marshal Church of Christ. He was also a former member of the senior citizens center and choir.

Surviving are his daughter, Toni (Robert) Martin of Seaman, son, Matthew Williams of Hillsboro, three grandchildren, Ethan Martin, Emily Fite, and India Williams, great-grandson, Gavin Fite, three sisters: Geraldine (Robert) Horsley of Delta, CO;  Bernice (Myron) Liming of Greenfield; and Dottie Williams of Milford.

In addition to his parents, Vern was preceded in death by a brother, Herdis Talmadge Williams and his significant other, Doris Hackney.

As Vern's wishes there will be no services held.
