Thelma Jean Wiget Pierson, age 85, of Wilmington, OH, died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at her home.
She was born June 5, 1929 in Indian Hill, OH, daughter of the late Fred Winfred Wiget and Lovisa Pearl Firman Wiget.
She was a member of Wilmington Church of Christ.
Surviving is her husband, Gerald "Skeet" Pierson whom she married December 24, 1947, 3 sons, Johnnie (Margie) Pierson of Wilmington, Bobbie (Sue) Pierson of Sabina, Ronnie (Pamela) Pierson, of Wilmington, daughter, Connie (Randy) Vaughn of Chicago, IL, 11 Grandchildren, Kristin Reedy, Kari Pierson, Kimberly Curtis, Bobbie Sue Walker, Michelle Pierson, Susie Khandelwal, Amanda Swick, Levi Pierson, Andy Vaughn, Bart Vaughn, and Chad Vaughn. Also surviving are 23 Great grandchildren, four brothers, Don Wiget, George Wiget, Norman Wiget, Larry Wiget, two sisters, Doris Cochran, Judy Hartley, numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by 3 Brothers, Raymond Wiget, Fred Wiget, Jr., and C. Wayne Wiget.
Services will be held at New Antioch Church of Christ, Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, Tuesday, December 30, 2014, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
