Tawanna Smetana

Tawanna Smetana, age 56, of Hillsboro, Ohio, formerly of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at her home.
She was born January 23, 1960 in Hamilton, OH, daughter of Robert Samuel Shaffer and Martha Ann Copas Trochelman .
Tawanna had worked at many restaurants in the region including- Peerless Mill Inn, Max & Erma's, Tillie's, and the Holiday Inn in Dayton and Xenia.
Surviving are her mother, Martha Ann Trochelman of Greenfield, OH, son, Christopher John Adkins of Xenia, OH, four grandchildren, Kierna Franks, Jace Adkins, Aubrey Adkins, and Mason Adkins, sister, Donna (Steve) Eaglin of New Vienna, OH, three brothers, Wayne (Sandy) Shaffer of Hillsboro, OH, Danny (Vicky) Shaffer of Lynchburg, OH, and Tony (Rhonda) Shaffer of Greenfield, OH, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Tawanna was preceded in death by her husband, Richard John Smetana, son, Craig Franks, and step-father, Charles Trochelman.
Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St. Hillsboro, OH, Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Danny Shaffer officiating. Interment will follow in the Second Creek Cemetery, Blanchester, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the services.
