Shirley M. Tong, 65, of Peebles, died Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at her residence.
She was born May 14, 1947 in Highland County , OH, daughter of the late Lawrence Raymond Chaney and Sara Evelyn Holiday Chaney .
Surviving is her husband, Donald E. Tong of Peebles, OH, daughter, Tamara (Tony) Penwell of Peebles, daughter, Michelle (Roger) Risner of Lucasville, son, James (Autumn) Tong of Hillsboro, son, Thomas (Leah) Tong of Waverly, step-daughter, Dorothy Shanks of Bainbridge, step-son, Davey (Debbie) Tong of Peebles, step-son, Kenny (Tina) Tong of Peebles, step-son, Mark (Glenna) Tong, Brother, Larry David (Betty) Chaney of Hillsboro, Brother, Bill (Loraine) Chaney of Tucson, AZ, half sister, Ginger Collins of Hillsboro, several grandchildren, & great grandchildren, nieces & nephews .
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a grandson, Owen James Tong, and a sister, Cherry Ann Leber.
A Celebration of Shirley's Life will be held at Fairview Church, 2029 Fairview Road, Peebles, OH 45660, on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob King officiating.
