age 74, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday morning, July 21, 2013 at home.
She was born January 3, 1939 in Manchester, OH, daughter of the late Charles & Christine (Reed) Shoemaker.
Shirley had worked as a Home Nursing Aide and was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Hillsboro.
Surviving are her 2 sons- Norman (Claudine) Saunders, Petoskey, MI & Donnie Ray (Tabatha) Saunders, of Oregon; daughter- Jeanie (Ed) Walker of Lake Cumberland, KY; brothers- Charles (Clara) Shoemaker of Xenia, OH, & Jerry Shoemaker of Colorado; sisters- Ramona (Sonny) Boone of Georgetown, OH, Mary Ann (Wayne) Murphy of Hillsboro, & Vickie (Ed) Bayless of Hillsboro, OH; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her two husbands- Norman Saunders & Robert Maxwell and 2 daughters- Shirley Jean Saunders & Patricia Saunders.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 East Main Street, Hillsboro with Dr. Daniel Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in the Prospect Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM, Wednesday at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Ohio .
