Shirley Hansen

Shirley Ann Hansen,
age 92 Years, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away early Monday morning, October 10, 2022 at the Cape May Retirement Community  in Wilmington.
She was born February 22, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio, daughter of the late Simon Giddion  & Sarah Ann (Benson) Gordon.
Mrs. Hansen retired as a second grade school teacher after 35 years of service.
She was a member of Wilmington Kiwanis Club, Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, and loved gardening and flowers serving in Garden Clubs in New Jersey for many years.
Surviving are her loving husband of 66 years, Christian Charles Hansen, Jr; son- Mark (Angie) Hansen of Olive Hill, TN; daughter- Anne (David) Reid of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren- Jennifer, Melanie, Gregory, Lydia, & Rebecca; and 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hansen was preceded in death by her brother- James Gordon, & sister- Eleanor Miller.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, October 21, 2022 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington, with Pastor Stan Gockel and Pastor Jim Graham officiating.  Friends will be received from 1:00 PM until the time of services at the funeral home.
