Scott Teeters

Scott L. Teeters, age 95, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Sunday,  September 25, 2016 in Hillsboro, OH.

He was born March 18, 1921 in Adams County, OH, to Gordon R. Teeters  and Armelda Pearl Smith Teeters.

He had been a farmer and retired from the Highland County Highway Department.

Surviving is his son, Scott Leslie (Jane Ann) Teeters of Washington Court House, four grandsons, Scott Leslie Teeters, Jr. of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Matthew (Tess) Teeters of Norwood, Ohio, Andy (Nevada) Teeters of Leesburg, Ohio,  Aaron Teeters of Norwood, Ohio, four great grandchildren, Zack and Kady Teeters of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Aiden and Owen Teeters of Leesburg, Ohio. Mr. Teeters is also survived by sisters-in-law Mrs. Dale (Janice) Teeters of Washington Court House, Ohio, Mrs. Lewis (Lulabelle) Teeters and Mrs. Claude (Katie) Teeters. Numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends also survive.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Teeters was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita June Teeters who passed away July 5, 2002, 4 brothers, Clyde Teeters of Leesburg, Lewis Teeters of Samantha, Claude Teeters of Hillsboro and Dale Teeeters of Washington C.H.; 4 sisters, Bertha Pendry, of Wilmington, Helen Carter of Wilmington, Genevieve Maines, of Hillsboro, and Verla Teeters of Hillsboro. He was also preceded in death by daughter-in-law Patricia Lynn Teeters of Washington Court House and a nephew Jeffery Teeters of Grove City, Ohio.

Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Wednesday September 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Dave Hopkins officiating.  Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens, Hillsboro, Ohio.

Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home Wednesday, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
