Saundra Cates

Saundra M. Cates, age 76, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away July 4, 2021 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, OH.

She was born July 11, 1944 in Tennesee daughter of the late Benjamin McMeans and Oleta Echols McMeans.

She was a member of the Chester Friends Meeting and was a graduate of the University of Maine with a BA degree in elementary education.

Surviving is her daughter, Anna Cates of Wilmington and three sons, Edward (Marcie) Cates of Seymour, IN, Jason Cates and Josh Cates both of Wilmington.

In addition to her parents, Saundra was preceded in death by her husband, Carleton E. Cates and a sister, Billie Jean Resseguie.

A memorial service will be held at Chester Friends Meeting, Friday, July 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Nancy McCormick officiating.

Friends will be received at Chester Friends Friday, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.

The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
