Ruth M. (Tedrick) Henderson,
Age 91 , of Wilmington, Ohio, passed into eternal life, November 27, 2014.
Born April 20, 1923 daughter of the late Jesse & Bessie (Davis) Tedrick. On January 29, 1945, she married the love of her life, Harry R. Henderson, who went to his heavenly home March 13, 1999.
A faithful member of Wilmington Faith Lutheran Church, Wilmington, Ruth had retired from the Print Shop at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and from Fairborn City Schools.
In addition to her parents and husband Ruth was preceded in eternal rest by her brothers- Denzel, Raymond, Ralph & Donald Tedrick, & sisters Elsie Brewer and Mildred Johnson. Nieces & Nephews Richard, Linda, Kenneth, Ruthie, Caryl and Cynthia.
While Ruth had no children of her own, her Nieces and Nephews were her very large extended family. Surviving are her care-givers, Laura Johnson McGuire (Gregg), Wilmington, Douglas Tedrick, Blanchester, sister-in-law- Margarete "Corky" Tedrick, Diana Dwyer (Rock), Beavercreek, Dana Brewer (Leigh), Riverside, Ron Johnson and great niece Jamie Lynn Monroe, New York whom she called her "baby". Many more much loved nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Ruth was known to have an ear to lend, a kind word to say, a loving deed to be done. Her cooking skills and production of favorites for visitors and family gatherings will be greatly missed. Her steady calming influence on those around her will leave an unmistakable void.
Friends will be received at Faith Lutheran Church 421 East Vine St., Wilmington 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Dec. 3, 2014 with services to follow. Pastor June Fryman officiating. Concluding with interment will follow at the Blanchester I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Blanchester, OH.
