Russell Marconette, age 97, of Sugartree Ridge, Ohio, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center, Seaman, OH.
He was born January 12, 1916 in Mowrystown, OH, son of the late Ira Marconette and Sadie Moberly Marconette.
Mr. Marconette was an auto parts supplier and had owned and operated R.W. Distributing since 1933.
He was a member of Sugartree Ridge Church of Christ, and was a WWII U.S. Army Air Corps veteran. Russell was also a member of the Highland Lodge #38 F&AM, the Hillsboro Chapter #40, Hillsboro Council #16, the Highland Commandery #31 and the Hillsboro Order of Eastern Star #441.
Surviving is his wife, Donna Noble Marconette whom he married June 11, 1964, one sister, Evelyn Mox of Chicago, IL, 5 nephews, and 3 nieces.
In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Mitchell and Mary Unser.
Graveside services will be held at the Sugartree Ridge Cemetery, Monday, December 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Dan Knisley officiating.
