Rose Marie Wehrkamp

Rose Marie Wehrkamp, age 68 years, of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday afternoon March 30, 2025 at Crestwood Nursing Home in Hillsboro.

She was born August 12, 1956 in Ashville, Ohio, daughter of Clifford Lawrence Benson Sr. and Viola (Stroh) Vanatta.

Rose loved to cook and watch cooking shows, always writing down the recipes to try out later.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph Wehrkamp, whom she married on January 8, 1994; mother, Viola Vanatta; three children: Matthew Bennington, Angela Carmichael, and Rhema Bennington; many grandchildren; and a brother, Clifford Benson Jr..

Rose was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Benson Sr.

No services will be held at this time.
