Rose Thompson

Rose Thompson,
Age 78, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Friday afternoon,  October 9, 2020 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington after a brief illness.
She was born March 25, 1942 in Portsmouth, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles William & Stella (Koenig) Eichenlaub.   On June 10, 1961 in Otway, Ohio, she married William Paul Thompson, who preceded her in death on February 18, 2020.
Rose retired from Airborne Express in Wilmington. Surviving are her sons- Paul (Tamara) Thompson of Wilmington, & Chris (Angela) Thompson of Reynoldsburg, OH; daughters- Theresa Plas of Vero Beach, FL, & Debbie Crews of Sacramento, CA; 6 grandchildren- Jessica Plas, Scott Thompson, Katelyn Crews, Brian Thompson, Macy Thompson, & Madelyn Thompson; great-grandson- Dawson Thompson; brothers- Bob (Carol) Eichenlaub, Portsmouth & Larry (May) Eichenlaub, Hamilton, MT; sister- Mary (Dave) Montavon, Portsmouth; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was preceded in death by 2 brothers- James Joseph & Henry Francis Eichenlaub.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, October 19, 2020 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Celebrant Barbara Deibel officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
Friends will be received from 12:00 Noon until the time of services at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.  Due to Covid, masks and social distancing are encouraged.
