Roscoe Ellis

Roscoe E. Ellis,
Age 83, of Jamestown, Ohio, passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 31, 2014 at home.

He was born October 14, 1931 in Paintersville, OH, son of the late Wilbur Roscoe & Celia Mary (Nichols) Ellis.

Roscoe had worked for Bill Marine Ford and was a farmer.

Surviving are his sister- Pearl Garvic of Xenia, OH; 5 nephews- Richard Ellis of Sabina, OH, & Richard Gavic of Kettering, OH,  Eric Chaplin of Xenia, OH, Craig Chaplin of Georgtown, OH, &, Robert Herbert of West Carrollton, OH; 2 nieces- Marjorie (Michael) Cady of Troy, OH, & Marilyn (Patrick) Maley of Florence, KY, and several great nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, Roscoe was preceded in death by his sisters- Martha Herbert,  Ruth Chaplin, Georgianna Ellis,  Mary Edwards,  Emma Butts,  & Cleo Ellis and his brother- Ralph Ellis.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home,97 West Locust Street at north Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Pastor Clarence Dinnen officiating.  Interment will follow in the New Maple Grove Cemetery, Port William.
Friends will be received from 9 AM to 11 AM Monday at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
