Ronald Reed

Ronald  J. Reed,
Age 77, of Monroe, formerly of the Hillsboro area, passed away, Thursday morning, March 21, 2013 at the Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, Ohio.

He was born February 8, 1936 in Hillsboro,  Ohio, son of  the late James T. & Ruby L. (Walker) Reed.  He married Donna C. Daniels Reed, who passed away December 2, 1991 and then Beverly A. Brackett Reed, who passed away May 23, 2000.

Ronald retired after 44 years of service to the Kroger Warehouse in Woodlawn.  He was a member of the FOE #3458 Eagles in Middletown.  He loved enjoying time at South Bass Island in Lake Erie.

Surviving are his 2 sons- Alan Reed, of Hamilton &  James J. Reed, Hamilton;  grandson- Frank (Carla) Reed, Trenton, Ohio, granddaughter- Emily Reed, Maysville, Kentucky; 3 great-grandchildren- Donaven Reed, Marley Reed, & Randon Butler (Reed).
In addition to his parents and 2 wives, Ronald was preceded in death by his brother- Norman Reed.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 27 atRhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 East Main Street, Hillsboro, Ohio  with  officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery, Hillsboro, Ohio.

Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of services, Wednesday, March 27 at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Ohio .
