Robert Mccurdy

Robert  F. McCurdy,
age 82, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Monday evening, May 16, 2022 at home with his loved ones present.
He was born January 29, 1940 in Peebles, Ohio, son of the late Robert Lee  & Frankie Alice (Burns) McCurdy.  He married Connie Sue (Huff) McCurdy, who survives.
Bob retired from the City of Wilmington Landfill after over 20 years of service.
In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are his daughter- Becky "Sugar Dumpling" (Paul "Lug Nut" Curry) McCurdy; grandchildren- Chy "Hoover" Younker & Brandon "Jakey" Younker; nephews- Brian & Todd and other nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great - nephews and special great-niece, Makiley "Ankle Biter" and special great-nephews- Preston & Garrett; sisters-in-law- Patty (Russ) Smith & Ruby Huff; brothers-in-law- Bill (Mary) Huff, Donald (Brenda) Huff, Rex Huff, & Roger (Vicky) Huff; and adopted daughter- Stephanie "Cow Patty" Huff.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his daughter - Deborah Shane McCurdy and brothers- Michael James McCurdy & Gerald McCurdy.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, May 20, 2022 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home,  97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
Friends will be received from 12 Noon until the time of services at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, on Friday, May 20, 2022.
