Robert "Bob" Bowman, age 82, of the Sugartree Ridge Community, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY.
He was born May 5, 1932 in Highland County, OH, son of the late Stanley Ray Bowman and Ruth Florence Goldsberry Bowman.
Bob had attended Whiteoak High School and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Era.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma E. Bowman whom he married June 9, 1957, one daughter, Teresa Bowman (Graybeal), of Sugartree Ridge, four Grandchildren, Elizabeth (Brad) Bennington of Hillsboro, Kimberly (Richard) McCarty of Hillsboro, Timothy Graybeal Jr. of Wilmington, and Joshua Graybeal of Sugartree Ridge. Also surviving are two great-granddaughters, Kora Greene, Kenzi Bennington, sister, Carol Igo of Hillsboro, former son-in-law, Tim Graybeal, a special nephew, David Cline, several nieces & nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Pastors Earl Newton and Curtis Randolph officiating. Interment will follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery where the Highland County Honor Guard will conduct full military honors.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
