Robert C. Angle, age 83, of Wilmington, OH, died Sunday, August 9, 2015 at his home in Wilmington.
He was born February 24, 1932 in El Segundo, CA, son of the late Cleo Harold Angle and DeLilia Roberts Angle.
Bob was a devoted husband to his wife whom he took care of for many years. He was a loyal and sincere friend to many and will be greatly missed.
He was a member of Wilmington American Legion Post #49; was a life member of the Wilmington VFW #6710; was a member of the Hillsboro DAV #123, and had retired from the Ohio Air National Guard 160th Command Squadron.
Surviving are daughter, Dianne (Karl) Mehn of Leesburg, FL, step-son, Michael (Sue) Pobst, step-daughter, Dianna Sutton, sister, Mary Louise Baldwin, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and Special Friends, Ryan & Tami Behr of Martinsville, OH.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by wife, Ruth Emma Angle, two Brothers, Richard Frank Angle, Johnny William Angle, and a great-grandson, Tyler Wright.
A celebration of Robert's Life will be held at the Wilmington American Legion Post #49, Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 5:00 pm. Interment will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery at a later date.
