Richard Wood

Richard Andrew Wood,
age 49, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away, Saturday evening, March 26, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

He was born May 8, 1966 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, son of  the late Richard Milo & Barbara Elaine (Brand) Wood.

Andy was a US Army Desert Storm Veteran and a member of the St. Columbkille Catholic Church, the American LegionPost #49, the VFW Post #6710, and the Knights of Columbus Council 3369, all of Wilmington.
Surviving are his cargiver- Alicia Dabe of Wilmington; sister- Elizabeth (Rich) Hinkle; nieces- Amanda (Ron) Duncan & Emily Hinkle; nephew- Eric Hinkle; great-niece- Cora Duncan; God-mother- Joyce Noland of Wilmington; and numerous family & friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM, Monday, April 4, 2016 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 73 North Mulberry Street at West Locust Street, Wilmington  with Rev. Michael Holloran officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, Ohio, where the Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Memorial Squad will accord full military honors..

Friends will be received from 9:45 AM until the times of services at the church. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington has been entrusted with the arrangements.
