He was born January 23, 1952 in Chillicothe, Ohio, son of the late Marion P. & Evelyn Rupe.
Richard had worked as a MRO for American Tool Manufacturing.
Surviving are his 3 sons- Chris L. (Shannon) Stanforth of Wilmington, OH, Dustin Stanforth of Clarksville, OH, &, Rusty Stanforth of Wilmington, OH; daughter- Vanessa Stanforth of New Vienna, OH; Six grandchildren; brother- Selby (Sarah) Rupe of Martinsville, OH.
