Richard Moore Sr.

He was born August 25, 1936 in Reardon, OH, son of the late Arthur L. and Melissa Ilo (Perry) Moore. On March 17, 1958 in Leesburg, OH he married Norma Jean Kenney, who survives.
Richard retired as an Electrician for Robbins and Meyers in Springfield, OH. He had also been a dump truck driver, had driven for Klein Trucking, and had mowed the roads for Eagle Township.
In addition to his wife other surviving family members are two sons, Bill (Kim) Moore of Fincastle, OH, and Rick (Denise) Moore of Winchester, OH, three daughters, Nancy Moore Devilbliss of Winchester, OH, Missy Moore of Sardinia, OH, and Jo (Tom) Wilkinson of Cincinnati, OH, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, four sisters, Ellen Mobry of WI, Carol (Leon) Darst of Springfield, OH, Marilyn (Joe) Ramby of TN, and Vivian (Paul) Colwell of Springfield, OH, three brothers, Glenn (Lee) Mershon of Springfield, OH, Frank (Shirley) Mershon of Springfield, OH, and Ted (Betty) Mershon of Springfield, OH, two sons-in-law, Mike Smith of Sardinia, OH and Louis Walters of Sardinia, OH, and brother-in-law, Lindel Puckett of Hillsboro, OH.
In addition to his parents Richard was preceded in death by daughter, Cheryl Ann Smith, granddaughter, Megan Smith, sister, Theresa Puckett, and brother, Wayne Mershon.
Services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 E. Main St. Mowrystown, August 22, 2014 at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Fincastle Cemetery.
Friends will be received at Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, Ohio Friday, August 22, 2014 from 10 AM until 12 Noon.
