Richard Duggins

Richard   Duggins,
age 77, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away early Friday morning, October 14, 2022 at home.
He was born April 24, 1945 in Wilmington,  son of the late  James Francis & Lucille (Hampton) Duggins.  On December 29, 1963 in Wilmington, he married Christina (Teboe) Duggins.

Richard  retired as the owner/operator of the Duggins Painting and Wallpapering Company after over 50 year of service.  He was a member of the St. Columbkille Catholic Church and a veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his wife of 59 years, other surviving family members are his children- Sheila (Robert) Runyon, Lebanon, Rodney (Christa) Duggins, Wilmington, Vince (Angela) Duggins, Wilmington, & Rebecca (Bryan) Yerian, Wilmington; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;  brothers and sisters- Jerry (Linda) Duggins, John Duggins, Gary (Mary) Duggins, Cheyenne (Dee) Duggins, Jimmy (Judy) Duggins, & Melodie (Bob) DeBoard; and many nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents,  Richard  was preceded in death by his  brothers & sisters- Rex Duggins, Fred Duggins, Mike Duggins, Robert Duggins, Betty Leavitt, June Crowe & Ruth Ann Hibbs..

Prayers will be said 10:10 AM Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street, Wilmington followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM, at St. Columbkille Catholic Church with Fr. Bernard J. Weldishofer officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, where the Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Honor Squad will accord full military honors.

Friends will be received from 4-7 PM, Tuesday, October 18 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
