Rev. Dr Roger L Meredith

 Rev. Dr. Roger Leigh Meredith,
age 83, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon, March 27, 2024 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.  
 He was born April 28, 1940 in Ludlow, Kentucky, son of  the late Ollie & Virginia (Baker) Meredith.  On June 19, 1965 in Mansfield, Ohio, he married Penny Louise (Wachs) Meredith, who survives.
 Roger retired as a Minister for the Methodist Church was a member of First Christian Church - Disciples of Christ, Wilmington.  He was also a 60 year member of the Kiwanis International Club, most recently with the Wilmington Kiwanis Club.
In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are his son- Dave (Jennifer) Meredith, Battleboro, NC ; daughter- Susan (Matt) Rentschler,  Cincinnati;  4 grandchildren- Nicole (Dan) Clemons,  Staci, Kyle & Aubrey Rentschler; and sister- Barb (Perry) Fields, Elsmer, KY.
Funeral Services will be held  1:00 PM, Monday, April 1, 2024 at First Christian Church - Disciples of Christ, 120 Columbus Street, Wilmington  with  Pastor Connor Thompson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, Ohio.
  The Family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of services.
