Phyllis L. Campbell, age 77 of Xenia went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, February 22, 2013. She was born December 17, 1935 in Wilmington, Ohio the daughter of the late Delbert and Hazel Dawson Johnson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Randall and Harvey Campbell; step-father, Ernest Wallace, sisters, Nancy Johnson Jeffries, Nina Grooms Ryan, and a brother, Joseph L. Johnson.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela L. Brown, her son, Stephan Randall, both of Xenia, Grandchildren, Natasha Boggs, Nicholas and Justin Ambrogi, Dana Jones, Adam, Jessica, and Luke Randall. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Brittany, Victoria, and Angela Boggs, Rehinnon, Lilly, and Luke Ambrogi; Justin and Jaden Ambrogi; Micah, and Cristen Jones. Other survivors include sisters, Veda Horton, of Xenia, Joy Quikle, of Hillsboro, and Kathy Wilbur of Wellston; brothers, Bill Johnson, of North Carolina, and Delbert Johnson, of Xenia; Uncle, Charles Dawson, of Hillsboro, several cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Phyllis was a member of the Xenia Church of The Nazarene. She was well loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She was a friend to the friendless.
Services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Harold Horton officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
