Phyllis Jean Burden,
Age 81, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away early Saturday morning, June 25, 2016 at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio.
She was born March 22, 1935 in Hillsboro, Ohio, daughter of the late Lawrence & Opal (Locke) Carter.
She loved gambling and playing bingo.
Surviving are her daughters-Barbara (Mark) Stuart of Blanchester, & Peggy (Pete) Myers of Clarksville, OH; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister- Jessie (Eddie) Reno, Hillsboro; & 2 brothers- Richard (Paulette) Carter, Wilmington, & Lawrence Carter, Hillsboro.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband-Warren Carl Burden; daughter- Karen Sue Hall; & 3 sisters- Nancy Carter, Joan Wilson, & Loretta Williamson.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Pastor Steve Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 10 AM to 11 AM, Wednesday at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
