Phoebe June Brannon Neanover, age 78, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehab Center in Wilmington, OH.
She was born September 2, 1932 in Wilmington, OH, daughter of the late John Arthur Brannon and Elsie May Garrison Brannon .
Phoebe was a life member at Ada Chapel and was a member and past Madam President at the Wilmington Eagles Lodge.
Surviving are two daughters, Rose (Larry) Neanover Smedley of Wilmington, Mary (Chuck) Neanover Price, of Kentucky, three sons, Robert (Kathy) Brannon, of Wilmington, Tom (Faye) Neanover, of Wilmington, Joe (Kathy) Neanover, of Port William, 2 sisters, Bonnie Brannon Huff, Wilmington, and Anna Brannon Myers, of Wilmington. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Phoebe was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lee Neanover Sr., a son, Jesse Lee Neanover Jr., 3 sisters, Jenny Oliver, Mary Geneva Brannon, Martha Louise Brannon, 5 brothers, Bill, John, Albert Steven, Grover, and Harold Brannon.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Monday, August 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Lawrence Barker officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, OH.
