He was born January 9, 1987 in Wilmington.
Surviving are his mother, Cindy Leighly of Wilmington, OH, son- Christopher Leighly; maternal grandmother, Joan Akers of Wilmington, OH , maternal grandfather, Paul Akers of Fairborn, OH, paternal grandparents, Charles & Georgia (Edwards) Leighly of Xenia, OH, and several aunts, uncles, & cousins.
Phillip was preceded in death by father, Timothy Lee Leighly, and brother, Alan Leighly.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 PM, Friday, Feb. 14 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry St., Wilmington with Pastor Nancy McCormick officiating. Interment will follow at the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
Friends will be received from 11:00 AM to the time of services Friday at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH .
