Pauline Fenwick,
age 98, of Washington Court House, Ohio, formerly of Mowrystown, passed away, Saturday afternoon, October 13, 2012 at the Carriage Court Assisted Living Center in Washington Court House.
She was born March 28, 1914 in Calvary, Adams County, Ohio, daughter of the late Raymond & Mabel (Pence) Mathias. She graduated from Winchester High School in 1934. She married Donald Fenwick, who died in August of 1998.
Mrs. Fenwick was united in baptism at the Sugar Tree Ridge Church of Christ at the age of 12. She later joined the Mowrystown Methodist Church, attending for 63 years with her husband.
Surviving are her daughter- Jana Knedler, of Washington Court House; 4 grandchildren-Kindra (Gregg) Bolsinger, Karmel (Thom) Payton, Kimberly Hewett, & Ronda DeVore; 4 great-grandchildren- Chad (Kathy) Payton, Jenna(Wes) Dawes, Benden Rayburn, & Bradley Rayburn; 5 great-great-grandchildren- Sidney, Carley & Cotey Payton & Westin & Lanie Dawes; 3 nieces and a nephew.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Fenwick was preceded in death by her son- Keith Fenwick; daughter- Darla Grief; a brother- Ariel Mathias; and son-in-law- Urcel Knedler, Jr
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 P.M., Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 East Main Street, Mowrystown, with Rev. Kraig Walker officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery, Mowrystown, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 2 -3 PM, Sunday, Oct. 28 at Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, Ohio .
