Paula Loraine Andrew
Age 77, of Avon Lake, Ohio formerly of Bruceton Mills, WV, Tampa, Florida, and Wilmington, Ohio, passed away early Sunday morning, February 14, 2016 at the Main Street Care Center  in Avon Lake.

She was born July 20, 1938 in Xenia, Ohio, daughter of the late Paul Jones & Ruth Amy (Oren) Andrew.
She attended the Mt. Pleasant Elementary School and graduated from Wilmington High School in 1956.  She attended Ohio University and later graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.  After teaching in Avon Lake, Ohio area for a few years, she was employed by the Higbee Department Store in Cleveland as Sales Manager and later as a corporate sales trainer.  While there, she developed and produced a training program and manual for associates in the children's departments.  Her training program was later adopted by other department stores..

Surviving are her 4 children- Lori (Andrew) Bregger of Cincinnati, OH, Michele Bednar of Avon, OH, Francis Bednar of Tampa, FL, & Jeffrey (Dyan) Bednar of Kaneohe, HI; 4 grandsons- Christopher & Jonathan Bregger of Cincinnati, OH, Robert Bednar of Chandler,AZ, & Parker Bednar of Kaneohe, HI; and a great-granddaughter- Aslynne Bregger of Cincinnati, OH.

In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her husband-Capt. Andrew G Cotterman, Sr., USN (Retired).

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 1:00 PM.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.

The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington is serving the family with the Busch Funeral Home, Avon Lake handling the local arrangements.
