 Paul G. Speelman,

Age 88, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away late Monday night, October 7, 2024 at the Copper Knoll Health & Rehab Center in Washington Court House, Ohio. 

 He was born May 10, 1936 in Wilmington, son of the late Miletus & Bessie (Stevens) Speelman.   Paul retired as a tool maker for General Motors- Moraine S-10 Plant. He invented an overlander out drive support and had it patented. He had served as a Vernon Township Trustee. A member of the Clinton County Antique Car Club, he was also a car mechanic as a hobby.

 Surviving are his sons-Larry (Tammy) Speelman, Wilmington, Danny (Paula) Speelman, Clarksville, & Dennis (Penny) Speelman of Monroe, OH; daughter- Stephanie (Elidio) Gil, Clayton, NC; grandchildren- RaSheena Barnes, RaLicia Ochoa, Dustin Speelman, Joshua Speelman, SaLeena Bishop, Paul Speelman, Sydney Wilson, Isaac Allemang, Sophia Gil, & Maya Gil; and many great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother- Harold Speelman & sisters- Margaret Winters, Olive Budrey, & Helen Wells.

 Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the Clarksville Cemetery, Clarksville, Ohio with Pastor Larry Speelman officiating. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Contributions in Paul's memory may be made to the Shriner's Hospital of Ohio, 1 Children's Plaza 2 West, Dayton, OH 45404.
