Paul Bernard Orth, age 86, of Seaman, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Orth, whom he married on March 2, 1979,  stepdaughter Jennifer (Jason) Wells; his wife of previous marriage, Arlene Orth; children Richard Orth, Roseanne Wood, Barbara Hull, Theresa Rose, Marie Smith, Brian Orth; his sister Agnes Dressing, brother Earl Orth, ten grandchildren, a great grand-child, and many nieces, nephews, and friends; he is preceded in death by his son Dan Orth, brother Joe Orth, and parents Joseph and Agnes Orth.
Paul was born in Cincinnati on November 24, 1930. He grew up in St. Maurice, Indiana and in Glendale, Ohio, where he worked for the Postal Service. He served in the Army during the Korean War, stationed in Germany. Paul went on to a career of many years as a leader in the metalworking industry, before settling on a farm in Seaman with Nancy to spend many happy years together. Paul served as President of the Growers’ Association, was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, and gave generously of his time, craftsman skills, and caring for others in service to the church and the community. Paul’s strength, wisdom, humor, and kindness to all, will forever brighten our hearts. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all of those whose lives he touched.

Memorial Services will held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 12:00 PM at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 234 N. High St. Hillsboro. The Highland County Honor Guard will conduct full military honors.
