He was born March 22, 1935 in Marquand, MO, son of the late Walter Leonard Edwards and Zettie Isadora Starkey Edwards.
He was a member of Wilmington Church of Christ.
Surviving is wife, Linda L. Edwards of Wilmington, OH, whom he married May 11, 1957, daughter, Kim (Greg) Lyon, Mason, son, David (Stacia) Edwards, Columbus, sister, Grace Smith of Cape Girardeau, MO, six grandchildren, Jeff (Jessica) Lyon, Shannon (Matt) Krusling, Shaun (Kelly) Lyon, Rachel Edwards, Emily Edwards, and Sarah Edwards, five great-grandchildren, Caiden Lyon, Colsen Lyon, Halle Krusling, Knox Krusling, and Jaxon Lyon.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Edwards, two sisters, Pearl Yount and Ruth Underwood.
Memorial services will be held at Wilmington Church of Christ, Friday, June 28, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Dale McCamish officiating.
Friends will be received at the church on Friday, 9 - 11 am .
