Patrick Allen Walls,
Age 61, of New Vienna, Ohio, passed away suddenly Tuesday night, August 16, 2011 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio.
He was born August 8, 1950 in Locust Grove, Ohio son of the late Rev. Richard L. Walls and Marion E. (Lacy) Walls, who survives in Wilmington.
Patrick had worked as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service. A 1968 Graduate of Wilmington High School, he was a Vietnam War Era US Army Veteran. He was loved and he loved all he met. Pat had also volunteered at the Sugar Tree Ministries and the This-n-That Shack.
In addition to his mother, other survivors are his beloved wife-Marie Robison Walls, New Vienna; son- Chris (Amy) Walls, Wilmington; daughter- Tracy (Charles) Scalf, Wilmington; 10 grandchildren; 3 step-children; 8 step-grandchildren; brother- Mike (Linda) Walls, Sabina; 2 sisters- Holly (Greg) Charlesworth, Miamisburg & Amy (Jim) Friend, Wilmington; and 7 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Patrick was preceded in death by his second wife-Arlene Walls.
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 PM, Friday, August 19, at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, where the Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Memorial Squad will accord full military honors.
Friends will be received from 12:30 to the time of services on Friday at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington.
