Patricia Ann Shrout

 Patricia Ann Shinkle Shrout, 

age 92, of New Port Richey, Florida, formerly of the Wilmington, Ohio area, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the Pavilion of New Port Richey, New Port Richey, Florida. 

 She was born January 24, 1932 in New Burlington, Ohio, daughter of the late John Ira & Edna Mae (Evans) Shinkle. On May 24, 1948 in Covington, Kentucky, she married Harold Lee Shrout, who passed on February 18, 2006. They were married for 57 years. Patty and Harold left Ohio in 1986 and settled in Clearwater, Florida area, where they enjoyed many years together

Surviving are her 3 daughters- Judith Ann (John) Huff of Mebane, NC, Barbara Joseph of Middletown, Ohio, & Rose Lynn Taylor of Clearwater, FL; sister- Janet Wead, of Enon, OH; 5 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Patty was preceded in death by her son- Roger Eugene Shrout in 2010; daughter-Patricia Ann Shrout in 1965; siblings- Gene, Jack, Donald and Mary, and great-grandson- Robert in 2013.

 Graveside Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, September 13, 2024 at New Burlington Cemetery, New Burlington Road, Chester Township, with Pastor Michael Amburgy officiating. 

The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington has been entrusted with the arrangements.
