Pamela Basford

Pamela S. Basford, age 66, of Hillsboro, departed this life on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the VITAS Inpatient Hospice Unit at the Drake Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was born October 27, 1956 in Georgetown, Ohio, daughter of the late Sara (Naylor) Stroup and Leroy Stroup.

Pam was a 1974 graduate of Whiteoak High School. After graduation, she worked many years at Robertshaw in Hillsboro, and worked nearly 20 years at Airborne Express in Wilmington.

On February 17, 1978 Pam was united in marriage to Roger D. Basford in Mowrystown, Ohio and together they had three children.

Pam enjoyed traveling, cruises, bingo, and enjoying time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her Husband Roger, three sons, Jason (Julia) Basford, Casey (Katie) Basford, and Zachary (Paige) Basford. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Emerie, Nora, Waylon, Eliza, Stella, and Henry Basford. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Donna (Stroup) and Harry Delano Morgan and brother-in-law and sister-in law James and Becky Basford, mother-in-law Dolores Basford, as well as two nieces and three nephews.

In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by father-in-law Willard Malachi Basford, daughter-in-law Amanda (Germann) Basford and granddaughter Annabelle Rose Basford.

Visitation will be held for friends and family on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 5:00pm - 8:00 pm at the Edgington Funeral Home in Mowrystown. Funeral services will be held at the Living Springs Community Church in Mowrystown on Saturday, November 12 at 1:00pm with Pastor Kraig Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery.
