Owen L. "Buck" Cooper, age 76, of Wilmington, OH, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday July 11, 2018 at his home in Wilmington, OH.
He was born January 20, 1942 in Pike County, OH, son of the late Milton Cooper and Marie Jackson Cooper
Buck had been employed with Wilmington City Cab for over 10 years and was retired from the American Tool Company after 33 years of service and had also worked at Valley Steel in Clarksville for several years.
Survivors include his wife, Rose M. Cooper of Wilmington, whom he married February 13, 1975, daughter, Tammy Wilson of Alabama, and son, Dale (Trina) Cooper of Xenia. Also surviving are 7 Grandchildren, Robert Burns, Amanda Houseman, Jessica Wilson, Tori Moore, Amanda Cooper, A.J. Cooper, and Logan Cooper. Nine Great-Grandchildren also mourn his passing, Meygan Burns, Aaron Houseman, Kaden Houseman, Raul Houseman, Andrew Houseman, Christian Houseman, Jeremiah Houseman, Haylee Riehle, and Nate Cooper, as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Buck was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Nelson, brother, John Cooper, son, James Cooper, and granddaughter, Cari Ann Cooper.
A private family gathering will take place at a later date to celebrate Buck's life.
