Pauline Cervantes,
Age 89, of Wilmington, Ohio, formerly of Speedway, Indiana passed awayThursday Evening, November 17, 2011 at Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, OH.
She was born May 10, 1922 in Boone County, Indiana, daughter of the late Lewis Henry & Gertrude (Pratt) Owens.
Mrs. Cervantes retired after teaching 35 years in the Jr & Sr High Schools in Indianapolis and then taught for several years at other schools in Central Indiana.
She was a member of Old Union Church, Indiana State Teachers Assoc., Ball State Alumni, Indiana University Alumni, and Wilmington Church of Christ.
Surviving are her Daughter- Carolyn Sue (Tom) Warner of Wilmington, OH; Nephew- Thomas Harold Owens of Coatsville, IN- Neices- Paula Jean Baldwin of Corona, CA, & Trudy Lou Cummings of Clayton, IN.
Pauline was preceded in death by her Brother- Robert Eugene Owens.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Old Union Church, Rt 500 W at Rt 550 S, Jamestown, IN.. Interment will follow in the Old Union Church Cemetery, Jamestown, Indiana.
Friends will be received from 5 - 7 PM, Friday, November 25 at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, 223 North Meridan Street, Lebanon, IN 46052.
