Mona Walker

Mona Joanne Walker, age 81, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Friday evening, February 23, 2018 at University of Cincinnati Medial Center in Cincinnati.

She was born February 27, 1936 in Greenfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Clarence Kellis and Beulah Taylor Kellis Wilson.

Surviving are two sons, Robin (Kim) Walker and Kevin (April) Walker both of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Seth, Quinn, Honor, Noble, and Serene Walker; two step-grandchildren, LeAnn (Kyle) Mastropasqua of Hubert, NC and Bill Frazer of Hillsboro; step-great-granddaughter, Madison Frazer; brother, Edward (Sandra) Wilson of Rockford, MI; sister, Tonita (Robert) Harsch of Holland, MI; brother-in-law, Lawrence (Judith) Moore of Arlington, TX; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, Leland S. Walker, who passed away on March 26, 1997; two sisters, Sandra L. O'Dell and Judith P. Moore; two nephews, Robert Parker Erb and Mark Tod O'Dell, and a step-father, Edward Parker Wilson.

Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St. Hillsboro, OH, Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Robert Hottle officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery, Hillsboro, Ohio.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
