Minnie Arthur,
Age 100, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Monday morning, April 3, 2017 at the Wilmington Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born November 7, 1916 in Wilmington, daughter of the late Abraham & Sarah (Moore)Ferris.
A graduate of Wilmington High School, Minnie worked as a Sales Clerk for Sears inWilmington, was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, and had attended other Methodist Churches in the area..
Surviving are her step-son- Fred Arthur of Denver, CO; sister- Alma Sword of Wilmington, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Minnie was preceded in death by her husband- Malcolm Arthur; step-daughter-Mary Alice and seven brothers & sisters.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, April 7 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Pastor Jim Wieble officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, OH.
Friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of services at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
