Michol R. Barney, age 58, of Wilmington, OH, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his home.
He was born January 11, 1957 in Hillsboro, OH, son of the late Abraham Barney and Nellie Jane Daulton Barney.
He was a member of Chester Friends Meeting; was a classic car enthusiast and had been in charge of the car show at the Clinton County Corn Festival the past two years. He was also a dedicated employee of Pennant Moldings in Sabina where he had worked for over 27 years.
Surviving are wife, Gretchen Barney of Wilmington, OH, whom he married May 21, 1983, son, Michol A. Barney of Blanchester, 3 sisters, Dianna (Walter) Gloyd, Joyce Church, Charlotte Kittrell, and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Michol was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Charles Barney, Sylven Barney, and an infant sister, Donna Barney.
Services will be held at Chester Friends Meeting, Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 6:00 pm with Pastors Mike and Nancy McCormick officiating.
Friends will be received at the church on Thursday, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
