Michael Osborne

Michael Wayne Osborne,
age 59, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 26, 2012 at the OSU Hospital in Columbus.
He was born July 24, 1953 in Wilmington, Ohio, son of Maurine Osborne Beal, of Wilmington and the late Shirley "Short" Osborne.

In addition to his mother, other surviving family members are his wife-Connie West Osborne, Columbus, 2 sons- Jakob (Alli) Osborne of Cincinnati, Jarred Osborne of Chicago, IL; 3 grandchildren;  sister- Linda (Bill) Vanpelt, formerly of Wilmington; nephew- Christopher Osborne of Cincinnati; and niece- Crystal Osborne of Cincinnati.
In 1954, at the age of 13 months, Mike contracted polio.  He was a 1971 graduate of Blanchester High School.  He formerly was in the DeMolay and active in sports.  He was a member of the ToledoSilver Street's pro wheelchair basketball team.
It was the wish of Michael to have graveside services at Clinton County Memory Gardens, Center Road, Wilmington on Tuesday morning, October 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Kelly Cook, pastor, offficiating.
