Michael Ray Lechner

 Michael Ray Lechner,

age 67, of Martinsville, Ohio, passed away early Monday morning, September 2, 2024 at home with his loved ones.  He was born November 20, 1956 in El Paso, Texas, son of the late Ted Harold & Annelissa Emile (Schmidt) Lechner A US Army Grenada War Veteran, Michael worked as a Helicopter Pilot in the Army and in the Tuna Fish Industry.

Surviving are his siblings-Robert Lechner, of AZ, Monica Fields, Martinsville, Susan Michaels, Wilmington, Jeff Lechner and James Lechner, Both of the Martinsville area, Richard Lechner, of Maryland, Lori Whitten & Brian Lechner, both of Peebles, OH; and many nieces & nephews.

 In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his partner- Dean Wade Fauber and brother- Tom Lechner.  Private Graveside Services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Tallahassee National Cemetery, 5015 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL. Public Honor Services Ceremony will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, September 25, 2025 at the Tallahassee National Cemetery.  Contributions in Michael's memory may be made to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch, PO Box 2000, Boys Ranch, FL 32064.
